Our Mission is to host & provide Writing Empowerment Retreats that restore individuals from all walks of life to become self-efficient in the workforce by learning life /work skills, dress for success, pay stipend in our 12-week WorkForce SOWIT Program.

Sponsor $6500 per applicant

To get back on track and get back to work with a new outlook on life.

Our Vision:

  • To operate a Writer's Restoration Empowerment Center Bed & Breakfast  

  • Workforce Case Management for the Homeless that will offer resources in mental health, life skills, and job readiness programs

  • Obtain $6500 per applicant for a 12-week stipend pay assignment (150 participates annually) (20 hour work week) (20 hours of individual services) totaling 40 hour weekly

  • Podcast Outreach

  1. Every $200 provides a Woman 20 hour WorkForce Paid assignment

  2. Every $500 provides Sponsorship for Retreat Outreaches

  3. Every $1000 provides 100 Free Books from our Bookstore to 100 Inmates or 100 residents living in a transitional houses

If you have a loved that is incarcerated, in a facility of any kind, The Sols Write House can send our books to them. You can also learn how to self publish through us and send your own publications to inmates in prison. Join our Bookstore Catalog today!

  • Hosted over 150 events for the community

  • Has served over 4000 youth since 2010(started at The Literacy Imperative)

  • Has Partnered and served with over 30 organizations and community leaders since 2010

  • Donated over 800 Computers / Printers to Families partnered with Warren Sanders of Tellico Village Access Computer Program since 2014

  • Donated over 3500 books to inmates, shelters and the homeless  since 2014

  • Over 65 Self Book Publishing Authors

  • Sherri Williams has published over 10 books on Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing

  • Was presented by Lori Tucker the WATE 6 On Your Side Community Hero Award in April 2017

  • Sang The Nationa Anthem for 2017 World Cycling Pro Competition 2017

  • Sang National Anthem for Major Madeline Rogero State of the Union Address 2017

  • Received Letter from President Barack Obama in 2016 about Gun Violence

  • 1st book published Sols Lyrically Said Poetry by 20 youth and their parents dedicated to Zaevion Dobson

  • Volunteered over 175 Hours during the Smokey Mountain Fire Disaster with Ameri-corps

  • Evangelist SherriLaVon Williams is also a teacher at Serenity Group Home teaching Griefshare.

SherriLaVon Williams started the Sols Write House , formerly Sols Writing Center, in 2014. God gave her the vision to start a publishing company to produce various books, journals and planners and get them to inmates in prison, in the shelters and to the nuring homes.
